The Mission

Five Days That Will
Raise Your Standard

The Great Lakes Expedition is not a retreat. It is not a weekend warrior camp. It is a carefully engineered five-day crucible set against the raw wilderness of Michigan's Upper Peninsula — one of the most demanding and beautiful landscapes in North America.

You will be cold. You will be tired. You will be pushed past the comfortable story you have been telling yourself about your limits. And when it is over, you will carry something home that no seminar, podcast, or self-help book can give you: proof.

Proof that you can operate under pressure. Proof that you belong to a tribe forged in the same fire. Proof that purpose is not found — it is earned. The standard you thought was your ceiling was just the floor.

What You Will Do

  • Cold-water immersion and lake crossing challenges in the Great Lakes wilderness
  • Ruck marches through dense Upper Peninsula forest terrain
  • Night navigation and land-nav exercises without GPS
  • Team leadership rotations under real stress and fatigue
  • Combat-tested mindset and decision-making drills
  • Obstacle and endurance events designed by veterans
  • Survival and evasion fundamentals
  • Bonding and leadership debriefs each evening
  • Sauna and cold plunge recovery sessions at the lodge

Who This Is For

  • Men and women who want to be tested — not coddled
  • Leaders who need to sharpen their edge under real pressure
  • Veterans transitioning and seeking purpose and tribe
  • Civilians ready to operate at a higher standard
  • Anyone who has felt the pull toward something more challenging and meaningful

How It Unfolds

Five Days. No Shortcuts.

Phase One

Insertion

Boots on the ground. Straight into the first operation. No easing in.

Phase Two

The Grind

Back-to-back operations, each built and run by veterans who've done this for real: land navigation, ruck marches, cold-water immersion, obstacle and endurance events, survival and evasion fundamentals.

Phase Three

The Reckoning

Leadership rotations. Decision-making under real pressure. This is where the mindset actually gets tested — not talked about.

Travel to and from the Lodge isn't counted as an operational day.
