Eddie Hernandez doesn’t just talk the warrior path—he’s walked it with boots on the ground, a rifle in his hands, and a quiet faith that never wavered.

Twelve years as an Army Infantry Sergeant. Two full 12-month combat deployments to Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division. A year in Korea. Hurricane Katrina relief in Louisiana. Special-duty personal security for combat chaplains. Airborne qualified. Combat Lifesaver. And on Easter Sunday, April 7, 2007, at Fort Hood, Texas, he stood security detail for President George W. Bush—shaking hands with both Presidents Bush and the First Ladies while the world outside was still at war. His own brother was in Iraq at the exact same time—two Hernandez brothers in the fight, side by side in spirit if not in location.

Today he brings that same fire to the civilian world as a professional Executive Protection Agent, a classically trained chef from Le Cordon Bleu, an ordained minister, and a board member of Oath to Country—a nonprofit serving veterans and first responders.

But Eddie’s real superpower is what happens when he steps in front of a team.

He lives and teaches the truths he’s bled for:

Husband. Father of four incredible kids. Follower of Jesus Christ. And now one of the cornerstones of Spartan X.
